CEO/Founder
Dr. Ashley Brunjes, D.C., M.S., B.C.N.
Dr. Ashley Brunjes enrolled at the prestigious Logan College of Chiropractic where she graduated with a Bachelors of Human Biology in 2005. Logan College of Chiropractic is one of the top ranked Chiropractic Schools in the nation. Following her bachelor’s degree, Dr. Brunjes completed a 4-year intensive program as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2008 from Logan College of Chiropractic.
She then furthered her studies and graduated with a Masters in Sports Science and Rehabilitation from Logan University, in 2009.
She was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for East Central College Women’s Volleyball Team in 2009, a year that the team went to Nationals. Dr. Brunjes is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, served as District 1 Representative for the Missouri State Chiropractic Association, a member of several local Chambers of Commerce, a member of the Three Rivers Business Women of Missouri, served on the Franklin Co. Farm Service Agency Board, and a member of the American Chiropractic Association. Dr. Brunjes was awarded the national recognition, Women of Distinction Award, for her years of serving her community as a women’s owned business. She also received an “Outstanding Young Professional” award from the Washington Area Chamber of Commerce.
As a chiropractic student, Dr. Brunjes extended her studies by enrolling in the Logan Intern Program and an additional internship program at the Jefferson Barracks VA Hospital. As an intern, she worked directly with practicing chiropractors to deliver the highest quality patient care for the men and women of our military.
She specializes in care for the whole family, with expertise in caring for women during their pregnancies and pediatric patients, as well as, being Board Certified in Neuropathy and caring for patients who suffer from debilitating nerve discomfort.
Her experiences have given her a great opportunity to learn to care for a wide variety of ailments from which her patients may suffer. Dr. Brunjes’ mission is to restore health through natural chiropractic care, allowing her patients to live their lives to the fullest.
She grew up with a very loving family in Lubbock, TX. In 2004, she moved to Missouri to continue her education where she was introduced to Daniel Brunjes, who is a farmer in the area. The couple married in 2009 and have welcomed three beautiful children into their family. They reside in the friendly community of West St. Louis. Their passion and prayerful longing for true community has led them to the area and they could not be more excited to spend the rest of their lives here in Missouri!
Chiropractor
Dr. Abby Painter, D.C.
Dr. Abby Painter graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri in April 2012 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree after receiving a Bachelors of Human Biology degree in
December 2009 from Logan. Prior to attending Logan, Dr. Painter graduated from East Central College in Union, Missouri with an Associate in Arts Medical Science degree in December 2007.
She is board-certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is a member of the Missouri State Chiropractic Association and American Chiropractic Association.
During her internship at Logan, Dr. Painter diagnosed numerous diseases and conditions associated with the neuromuscular and skeletal system. She attended seminars on several varieties of adjustments and proper techniques including pregnant mothers and infants. Dr. Painter treats various conditions such as neck and low back pain, migraine headaches, numbness and tingling, asthma, pregnancy and much more.
Dr. Painter grew up in Washington, Missouri where she attended both Saint Francis Borgia and Washington High School, graduating in 2005. While attending Washington High School, she was involved in Health Occupations class, where she observed a variety of health fields focusing interest on Chiropractic.
In August 2010, she was united in marriage with her husband, David Painter and currently reside in Union, Missouri. They have 3 beautiful children; Cecelia, Daniel and Eric. Dr. Painter gladly supports her local community and its organizations and parishes including volunteering for organizations such as the Daughters of Isabella and the Union Kiwanis Club. This is a community she have loved her whole life and she hopes to continue to make it stronger and healthier with both her professional and personal services. Dr. Painter has been practicing at Back on Track since August 2012. She is excited to continue to serve the community of West St. Louis, MO.
Chiropractor
Dr. Jessica Ferguson, D.C.
Dr. Jessica Ferguson is the newest addition to Back On Track! She graduated from the Logan College of Chiropractic with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She completed her internship at the office in 2022 and is now back as a practicing doctor! Dr. Jess has always been interested in helping people, especially children, and her passion for chiropractic care started as a teenager when she found chiropractic helped reduce and even completely stop her migraines.
She has extra training in treating the pediatric population with extra certifications and classes. Dr. Jess also has additional training in treating women who are pregnant with chiropractic care to relieve back pain, sciatic pain, round ligament pain, and more! She utilizes her extra knowledge and training as a doula to complement her chiropractic treatment.
Dr. Jess is passionate about helping children live their best lives by improving their overall health and wellness through chiropractic care. She believes chiropractic can benefit children in many ways, including decreasing growing pains, improving their sleep, and reducing stress.
At Back on Track Dr. Jess uses various techniques to help children feel comfortable and at ease during their chiropractic appointments. She works closely with parents to develop personalized treatment plans for each child, considering their individual needs and preferences.
The neuropathy program is what initially spiked her interest in Back on Track. She saw great results from patients with neuropathy who had chronic hand and foot pain that are now living fuller lives with little to no pain and improved quality of life. After seeing the results, she knew this was the place for her!
In her free time she loves golfing, boating, attending to her chickens, and spending time with her nephews!
Dr. Jess is excited to build relationships with local families and help people in the community thrive. She is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to each person she treats and looks forward to making a positive impact on the lives of her patients and their families.

Amy
Amy is one of the faces you’ll see as you enter our office. Her favorite part of the job is seeing others get help with their neuropathy and improve their quality of life. She was born and raised in Washington and graduated from WHS in 2006. She then went on to earn her AAS degree from Jefferson College in 2008.
She has two children along with two dogs and three cats. Her favorite time of the year is summer where she enjoys many outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, and floating.

Stacy is proud to be a part of the Back on Track team. From seeing life changing results to having personable conversations with patients, she will always be your go to for a smile or hug. As a lifelong resident of Washington, helping her community through top of the line care is her passion.
On a personal note you will find her spending her free time with her kids and friends at the river, concerts, and around town enjoying life to its fullest.

Elle loves working with the amazing ladies at Back on Track. She loves meeting new patients and watching them become part of the Back on Track family. Being able to help patients with their journey to feeling better is what she loves most.
If she is not hanging out with her two dogs and fiancé, then you can find her hanging out with friends and family. She loves spending her time outdoors and her favorite season is summer. She loves helping others and will go above and beyond every day!

Serenity
Serenity enjoys collaborating with team members to assist in providing treatment and relief for all that walk through Back On Track’s doors. She graduated from Union High School in 2021 and attended East Central College for further education. Serenity enjoys spending time with her family, but most importantly her pups. Serenity is always willing to lend a helping hand and has many hidden talents that make her such an asset to our team.
