Dr. Ashley Brunjes, DC, MS
Enrolled at the prestigious Logan College of Chiropractic where she graduated with a Bachelors of Human Biology in 2005. Logan College of Chiropractic is one of the top ranked Chiropractic Schools in the nation. Following her bachelor’s degree, Dr. Brunjes completed a 4-year intensive program as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2008 from Logan College of Chiropractic. She then furthered my studies and graduated with my Master’s in Sports Science and Rehabilitation from Logan University, in 2009.
She was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for East Central College Women’s Volleyball Team in 2009, a year that the team went to Nationals. Dr. Brunjes is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, served as District 1 Representative for the Missouri State Chiropractic Association, a member of several local Chambers of Commerce, a member of the Three Rivers Business Women of Missouri, served on the Franklin Co. Farm Service Agency Board, participates in local MOPS group, and a member of the American Chiropractic Association. Dr. Brunjes was recently awarded the national recognition, Women of Distinction Award, for her years of serving her community as a women's owed business.
As a chiropractic student, Dr. Brunjes extended her studies by enrolling in the Logan Intern Program and an additional internship program at the Jefferson Barracks VA Hospital. As an intern, she worked directly with practicing chiropractors to deliver the highest quality patient care for the men and women of our military.
She specializes in care for the whole family, with expetise in caring for women during their pregnancies and pediatic patients.
Her experiences have given her a great opportunity to learn to care for a wide variety of ailments from which her patients may suffer. Dr. Brunjes' mission is to restore health through natural chiropractic care, allowing her patients to live their lives to the fullest.
She grew up with a very loving family in Lubbock, TX. In 2004, she moved to Missouri to continue her education where she was introduced to the love of her life, Daniel Brunjes, who is a farmer in the area. The couple married in 2009 and in 2013 they welcomed their first son, Luke. In 2016, they were blessed with another beautiful baby boy, Liam. They reside in the friendly community of Labadie. Their passion and prayerful longing for true community has led them to the area and they could not be more excited to spend the rest of their lives here in Missouri!
Dr. Abby Painter, DC
I graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri in April 2012 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree after receiving a Bachelors of Human Biology degree in December 2009 from Logan. Prior to attending Logan, I graduated from East Central College in Union, Missouri with an Associate in Arts Medical Science degree in December 2007. I am board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and am a member of the Missouri State Chiropractic Association and American Chiropractic Association.
During my internship at Logan, I diagnosed numerous diseases and conditions associated with the neuromuscular and skeletal system. I attended seminars on several varieties of adjustments and proper technique including pregnant mothers and infants. I treat various conditions such as neck and low back pain, migraine headaches, numbness and tingling, asthma, pregnancy and much more.
I grew up in Washington, Missouri where I attended both Saint Francis Borgia and Washington High School, graduating in 2005. While attending Washington High School, I was involved in a class, Health Occupations, where I observed a variety of health fields focusing interest on Chiropractic.
In August 2010 my husband, David Painter and I united in marriage and currently reside in Union, Missouri. We have 3 beautiful children; Cecelia, Daniel and Eric. We gladly support local community and its organizations and parishes including volunteering for organizations such as the Daughters of Isabella, Knights of Columbus and St. Patrick’s Old Rock Church. This is a community I have loved my whole life and I hope to continue to make it stronger and healthier with both my professional and personal services. I’ve been practicing at Back on Track Chiropractic since August 2012. I’m excited to continue to serve the community of Labadie, MO.
Melissa Georgevitch, DC, MTAA
Dr. Melissa Georgevitch is a Pacific, Missouri native. She graduated from Pacific High School in 2010. From there, she earned an Associate’s Degree in General Transfer Studies from St. Louis Community College in 2011. Knowing that she wanted to pursue a career as a Chiropractor because of the benefits she received as a teenager, she enrolled at Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri. She received her Bachelors of Science in Human Biology in 2014. In August of 2016, Dr. Melissa Georgevitch graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic. During her time at Logan, she completed her Acupuncture certification. Dr. Georgevitch is trained in Diversified, Thompson and Activator Techniques.
Dr. Georgevitch also has a passion for helping animals. After graduation, she attended Options for Animals in Wellsville, Kansas, where she studied animal chiropractic. She became certified by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA) in February 2017. She treats both small and large animals at Fox Creek Veterinary Hospital in Wildwood, Missouri.
Dr. Georgevitch enjoys being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. She loves hiking and being at her family farm.
